I'm Roberta Anderson, Professional Organizer & Feng Shui Consultant. I've been helping the folks of Asheville declutter, organize, & tidy their homes for 7+ years. 

I'm certified with the Institute of Professional Organizers, I learned the KonMari Method in person with Marie Kondo, & I've trained as an Advanced Master at the International Feng Shui School.

I have the skills, qualifications, & experience to help you declutter, organize, & tidy your home for a healthy happy life.

What a Home Organizing Session looks like:

PLAN OF ACTION 

Your organizing session starts with a sit-down conversation & check-in. Then we take a tour of your home & together create a plan of action to help anchor & guide your project. Every session begins with a check-in to help you move mindfully in your body & mind during your session.

GET IT DONE 

Next is hands-on time where we dive in to accomplish our plan. We’ll be moving stuff around, you’ll be making decisions, getting your organizing questions answered, & learning new skills you can use forever. Most importantly, we'll be checking those tasks & to do's off your list!

CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESS

Your session will conclude with a conversation where we’ll evaluate what happened & what needs to happen next. You’ll get homework assignments (if you so desire), & we'll celebrate your success!

The amount of sessions necessary to complete a project will vary between homes

VIRTUAL CONSULTATION   

Start with a free 30-minute consultation. We'll meet on zoom and discuss your needs, project, & goals. I'll answer any questions you have about working together. Then we'll figure out an action plan and schedule a time for your first in home session.

ORGANIZING SESSIONS   

In-home sessions are 3 or 6 hours long. During this time we will be taking action on your plan to get stuff done! Depending on your needs some tasks I will do alone & some we'll do together. Your decluttering & organizing experience will be tailor-fit to your needs.

Here's a few questions Asheville Home Organizing clients have asked...

What towns do you serve?

Asheville, Weaverville, Barnardsville, Burnsville, Black Mountain, Arden, Fletcher, Mills River, Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Tryon, Candler, Canton, Woodfin, Leicester, Marshall, & Mars Hill. For areas out of my normal service zone I offer sessions with an additional travel fee. 

What items can you organize?

Everything! Anything! Including but not limited to... clothes, books, papers, electronics, toiletries, hobby items, camping gear, seasonal decorations, cooking utensils, spices, containers, dishware, food, sentimental items. First we declutter then organize what's left into a useable solution.

What areas can you organize?

Anywhere! Everywhere! Your room of requirement, Harry Potter closet, dresser to Narnia, front door launch area, kitchen, pantry, fridge and freezer, garage, clothes closet, cleaning closet, under your bathroom sink, home office, file cabinet, your junk drawer, even your car!

Do you provide organizing supplies, or should I purchase them separately?

During your first session together we will address your need for home organizing supplies. If needed we will measure and you will order the products needed. With my environmentally friendly approach we prioritize using items you already own.

Where do you donate items to?

When a donation leaves your home it goes to the local nonprofit that can most utilize it. I regularly donate items to: individuals in our community that can use them, Brother Wolf Thrift Store, Hospice Partners Thrift Store, and the Habitat for Humanity Restore. 

Do you require a deposit?

In 7+ years of serving our local Asheville community's home organizing needs I've enjoyed amazing clients and have not once needed a deposit. I expect honesty and integrity from myself and the clients I have the honor of working with. Your word and signature on our contract is enough. No deposit required.
